Every life is valuable, and it is our responsibility to protect those who cannot protect themselves. I believe that the right to life is the most fundamental human right, and is necessary for all other rights to exist. Congressional Republicans want to abdicate responsibility for defending life, leaving children's lives in the hands of each state, including many states that allow late-term abortions.

Sex-selective, racially motivated, special needs, and other discriminatory abortion practices have no place in a land of Justice for All. Instead, I will introduce a national ban on abortion in my first term, to ensure that every child has the right to life, and the protection that they deserve.

 

We must make it easier for parents to raise children in America, including an expansion of the child tax credit.

 

Expanding the foster care system is critical in providing loving homes for children who have been neglected, abused, or abandoned. Many children in the foster care system are in need of a stable and nurturing environment, and by expanding the foster care system, we can provide them with the care and support they need to thrive. As a congressman, I will advocate for increased tax breaks for families that foster or adopt children in need of a home.
